agree that border is way too thick,
You may also try a square version of the same image by cropping it from the bottom till the white froth and thus balancing out the top left with bottom right part.
On the other hand, the image is very striking. The colors and sharpness are very good. Hell, I'd say drop the border and enlarge the photo to show more detail.
I'm always this way and that about borders, but I only really do borders if it's black and white, and a square shaped image, for some reason.
I do agree with =closer-to-heaven though, the border is a bit large and the gray color kinda draws attention away from the image itself.
